Another successful festival was held at the seafront in Aberystywth raising £2,219.06 for Charity.
Hope you all had a great time at our festival. We certainly enjoyed ourselves.
Eventhough the weather was a bit windy on the Sunday, this didn't deter the line dancers from strutting their stuff. Billy Curtis and Paul Taylor gave us a great day on Sunday. Heulwen taught two dances - A Little Bit Closer and Eyes of a Child that we had choreographed ourselves. Let's hope by now that you've all had a go at this waltz.
Monday dawned fine and clear and was another busy day at the seafront in Aberystywth - it was just like sitting in Spain (with a bit of imgaination!!). A great day was given by Bobby D Sawyer, our little Welshman Bobby Jones and we mustn't forget our hero for singing as Mr May - Johnny Holland. Johnny posed as Mr May in Chrissy Burn's 2010 calendar in aid of Bone Cancer Research Trust. A very big thank you for Johnny for raising an extre £100+ for our Breast Cancer Charity.
